Photograph Tips for Good Engravings
These tips are general guidelines for the types of
photographs that make good engravings. However, you are welcome to
submit digital pictures to us for a FREE review and opinion. To submit
pictures for review,

lighting are preferred. Avoid pictures with dark spots, heavy shadows, or
dim lighting. 2.) "Soft-Focused" pictures do not
(normally) make good engravings. 3.) Pick photos where the subject
fills up as much of the frame as possible. 4.) The
higher the resolution on digital pictures, the better. 5.) Although any picture can be engraved, people usually look best
engraved as just head or bust shots. We can crop subjects out of a picture
to make a head/bust shot, but it is best if the picture is a close-up shot.
6.) Do not worry if two subjects in one picture need to be
moved around to be closer or cut out of a photo. We can do that, free of
charge.
